Cosmic Coffee and Beer Garden offers a sustainable, pet-friendly cafe with a variety of coffee favorites and alcoholic beverages. Open late and only minutes from St. Edward’s University, this hidden gem is fast becoming the next study hotspot.
Coffee, cocktails and food in one place. Three minutes from St. Edward’s University is Cosmic Coffee + Beer Garden, a venue inspired by permaculture, sustainability and regenerative systems. They use rainwater harvesting, on-site composting, organic ponds and cascading gardens that attract pollinators and provide herbs, vegetables and fruits. Their inspiration came from local culture and heritage as well as local art, music, vendors and the craft community.
You can feel a friendly, comfortable and warm environment upon entering. You are greeted by welcoming staff, who offer you something to drink from a wide variety of refreshments: some with or without coffee, others with alcohol to enjoy hot or cold. Their wide selection makes them an excellent and diverse choice, whether you choose for the weather or the mood.
All drinks are delicious. For those who love frozen drinks, the frozen Matcha Painkiller – which is an anytime escape with matcha green tea, pineapple, coconut milk and orange juice decorated with mint leaves – is a must. , as is Molé mocha – which is their Proud Mary espresso with cocoa and milk. It could be iced or hot, but I suggest the iced version.
In the beer garden, food trucks offer delicious dishes, such as Mexican dishes, wings and barbecue. The music was varied, but they played oldies and country music.
The place is intimate and romantic, mainly for couples and friends. All ages are welcome until 9 p.m., but the venue becomes 21+ after that. If you have pets, feel free to bring them, because according to the signs on the door, dogs are always welcome at Cosmic.

Al ingresar al establecimiento te reciben personas acogedoras que pueden sugerirte qué beber, cuentan con una amplia diversad de bebidas; algunas con y sin café, otras pueden prepararse con alcohol, también se pueden disfrutar calientes o fríos. Lo que hace que haya una gran y variada elección.
Todas las bebidas son deliciosas. Para los que les gustan las bebidas heladas, mi recommendación es el Matcha Painkiller helado, que es una escapada a cualquier hora por que está parado con té verde matcha, piña, leche de coco y zumo de naranja decorated with hojas de menta, así como el Molé mocha, el cual es espresso Mary con cacao molé y leche. Puede ser helado o caliente, pero sugiero the helada version.
En el jardín del lugar están ubicados algunos algunos de comida los cuales ofrecen deliciosa comida, como comida mexicana, alitas y bbq. En cuanto a la música, la música es variada, pero tocaban más canciones viejitas y música country, a través de los altavoces del lugar.
El lugar es más íntimo y romántico, mainly para parejas y amigos. Todas las edades son bienvenidas hasta las 9 de la noche, pero el lugar pasa a ser para mayores de 21 años sólo después. Las mascotas son algo important para nosotros y, para este establecimiento también es por eso que, los perros son siempre bienvenidos en este establecimiento de cafeteria.
