High school football is back for the ninth week as many teams wrap up their regular seasons along with one school playing their first playoff game.
PK Yonge v Providence School
PK Yonge will play at Providence School Thursday night at 7 p.m. The Blue Wave are 5-3 and have four straight wins after starting season 1-3. Plus, they’ve been excellent on the court, racking up 1,231 rushing yards led by quarterback Aaron Small Jr and KJ Wooden, who head coach Kevin Doelling will count on tonight in what should be a night. wet and rainy.

Gainesville vs. St. Augustine
A pair of two-losing teams will play as Gainesville takes on St. Augustine on Friday, Oct. 29 at 7:00 p.m. ET. rival to Buchholz on October 7. Head coach Dock Pollard has been pleased with his team’s reaction ever since.
The Yellow Jackets defeated Matanzas 37-21 on October 22 and have scored at least 28 points in all of their wins this year.
Eastside vs. Santa Fe
Eastside and Santa Fe are getting ready to play for the first time this season. Both teams combined to go 1-15. The Rams’ only victory came against Palatka 27-8 a week ago. The Raiders, however, are 0-8 and have been outscored 280-156 this year. Santa Fe has also lost three of the last four one-on-one clashes. This game is scheduled for Friday October 29 at 7 p.m.
Newberry v Union County
Newberry will face one of their toughest tests this season when they face Union County on Friday, October 29 at 7 p.m. ET. Newberry is 5-3 and has won three of four games, including a double overtime victory over Palatka on a pick-six. However, the Fightin ‘Tigers are 8-0 and have scored at least 50 points in five of their games this year, including a 49-14 win over Santa Fe last week.
Bucholtz vs. Forest
Creed Whittemore, brother of the Florida Gators Trent Whittemore, should lead Bucholtz in his clash against Forest. According to Max Preps, the Bobcats are the 83rd ranked team in the country, while Whitemore pitched for 1,304 yards and 338 rushing yards. In addition, Quan Lee and Amarius Hale totaled 455 rushing yards. It will be their first game against Forest since their 52-36 victory in 2011. Kick-off is Friday October 29 at 7:30 pm.
