With this launch, Proper Good customers can truly enjoy our meals from morning to night.

Today a premium brand of clean food, Candy, launches four Proper Good Ready oatmeal, the brand’s first official breakfast products. The new oatmeal is dairy-free, gluten-free, and plant-based – perfect for consumers with specific dietary needs.
âWith this launch, Proper Good customers can truly enjoy our meals from morning to night. We decided to introduce oatmeal specifically because breakfast is such a difficult time of day for most people. Things are chaotic as you start out, but you still want to eat a healthy and tasty breakfast to fuel your day the right way. Our solution is steel cut oats mixed with chia, flax, hemp seeds and coconut oil for a high fiber and filling breakfast, âsaid Christopher Jane, CEO and co-founder of Proper Good.
To prepare the oatmeal, remove the topper from the card, tear off the top of the bag, and microwave for 60 seconds. If you have chosen a flavored oatmeal, add the âstir inâ sachet, then simply enjoy it in a bowl or in the sachet itself. Consumers can also directly boil the sealed pouch, which is a particularly easy method outdoors or while camping.
Proper Good Ready Oatmeal is available in four flavors:
- Perfectly plain oats ($ 4.24): This thick al-dente-style oatmeal has an incredible texture and is ready to eat cold or hot in its microwave-safe BPA-free pouch.
- Apple cinnamon oatmeal ($ 5.09): The tossing packet is a masterpiece in itself with English nuts, organic cinnamon, and juicy diced apples.
- Blueberry Coconut Oatmeal ($ 5.09): This pack is next level tasty, with blueberries, toasted coconut flakes, crunchy pumpkin seeds, maple syrup powder, and butterfly pea powder.
- Choc, PB & Banana Oats ($ 5.09): With Dutch cocoa, peanut butter, crispy banana chunks, and maple syrup powder, this flavor gives you a fine breakfast that tastes like a cup of peanut butter, but with all the benefits of a high fiber meal and 8g of protein.
This year, Proper Good launched several additional products to bring cleaner, more convenient meals to their customers at their fingertips. These include a vegan-friendly South West Chile, Mix of quinoa and brown rice that goes very well with existing soups, a Chicken and Vegetable Soup, a Cream of Chicken Soup and a number of bone broths to drink.
After launching in 2020, the brand topped the $ 1,000,000 sales mark in its first year with over 150,000 meals sold and thousands of five-star reviews. Proper Good also laid the groundwork for highly agile and efficient manufacturing with a custom data platform showing product market fit in real time. This enables continuous micro-iteration of recipes based on real-time feedback from over 20,000 consumers, many of whom include critical workers like health professionals, truck’s driver and consumers who work at night.
Proper Good’s packaging allows workers to store their unopened meals at room temperature (no refrigeration or freezing required), which means they can keep the pouches in a nursing station, break room or just with them on the road and eat quickly instead of stopping for fast food or junk food. In addition, Proper Good’s packaging (cardboard topper, box and envelopes) are all widely recyclable, and the brand is committed to becoming certified climate neutral.
