Last year they launched a dairy-free chocolate spread, and this year Violife Dips hits store shelves. They emerge in three very popular flavors: Ranch, French Onion, and Spinach & Artichoke.

For the creamiest consistency, you’ll notice some favorite ingredients, like coconut oil and starch. But Violife isn’t afraid to try new things, like dried banana powder, to perfect its recipes. More Notes on Allergens
Violife has shared with us the following information about its allergen protocols:
Regarding dairy ingredients, please note that we share lines in some parts of the production process. However, we clean our equipment VERY meticulously, with multiple allergen swab tests to confirm no cross-contamination with dairy products. In addition, production samples are sent to an accredited laboratory for allergen analysis. Our results are systematically negative for the presence of any dairy allergen.
Please note however that testing for the absence of any dairy allergens is carried out as mentioned via multiple swab tests with a sensitivity of 0.4ppm* after the full weekend cleaning. Once the negative results are obtained, our vegan production can start on Monday morning. We must point out that a negative result at 0.4 ppm means that there are no dairy allergens present above that point.
*PPM = part per million, i.e. less than 0.4 mg of allergen in 1 kg of product, i.e. less than 0.01 mg in 20 g (1 slice) of product. 1mg = One thousandth of a gram.
As noted, the aforementioned allergens are not detectable by our tests; we guarantee that there are no allergens above our testing thresholds. We have never had a problem and we export all over the world.
