VPF launches new products at Labelexpo Europe 2022

VPF will showcase a range of adhesive materials at Labelexpo Europe 2022 to be held in Brussels from April 26-29, 2022. The company will focus on durable goods, sustainability and safety as well as product line extensions for the inkjet label printing.

The company will promote its new line of products for the durable goods sector, including strong and durable adhesive materials for interior and exterior applications. The range consists of a total of ten material combinations, some of which are UL listed, seawater resistant to BS5609, Sect. 2 and universally applicable for technically demanding labeling applications. The new materials use PET films and UV-stable PE and PP facestocks suitable for subsequent printing by thermal transfer, inkjet or laser printing technologies.

VPF will also present a completely renewed range of durable face materials and liners at Labelexpo. In addition to new budding papers – for inkjet and thermal transfer – the focus will be on silphie, translucent and hemp papers or a paper made from recycled disposable coffee cups, supplemented with PE films, PP and PET with “high” recycled content.

“Sustainable liners made from recycled paper or R-PET open up new possibilities for reducing the CO2 footprint of many labelstocks,” according to VPF.

VPF will also showcase materials for inkjet printing, including several new PE, PP and paper materials qualified for water-based inkjet printing systems. The company plans to develop inkjet materials based on recycled films in the future, accompanied in some cases by a “significant reduction” in the thickness of the face materials used.

The new product showcase at Labelexpo also includes new face materials for the tamper evident seal which leaves behind a Void logo when peeled off.

All VPF innovations, including many new adhesives, will be presented in detail at Labelexpo Europe 2022 in Hall 4, stand C67.
